You will be met by our representative outside the arrival area with your name. He will welcome us then drive us to our hotel in Thamel. On arrival at the hotel, we will be given our room keys and we take our luggage to our rooms and return to the lobby for a quick briefing, thereafter free to roam around in the streets of Thamel. It is advised that we have our dinner in the BLACK OLIVE RESTAURANT..

After breakfast we depart from our hotel to visit 1) Swayambhu Stupa , known as monkey temple because of monkeys in abundance. 2) Patan visit includes Pim Bahal, Golden Temple, Kumbheswar (Pashupatinath in Patan), Banglamukhi ( consort of lord Shiva), Patan Durbar Square with incredible wood carvings of various temples and the palace and finally visit the living goddess 3) We then drive to Baudhanath the largest stupa in the world and have lunch in a roof top café..

We depart by 0700 hours from Kathmandu. The drive through the countryside of Nepal, we will enjoy mountain scenery, forests, beautiful landscapes, and villages and get Arughat by lunch time. After lunch then drive to Lapubensi.

From Lapubensi we walk down to the Buri Gandaki. We walk on the wide sandy beach for some time then enter a forested area. We soon arrive at Machha Khola . This place was popular for its river trout (Asala)fish in 2010. We cross a tributary river from the left called Machha Khola and then climb up. The next village we arrive is Khorla Bensi. We then walk for about an hour along the Buri Gandaki River, by tobacco and buckwheat fields, past rocks washed smooth by the river, often climbing up stone steps, to reach the hot springs of the small village called Tatopani. We shall have some time to soak in hot water streaming out of spouts. A gentle climb through the woods past some spectacular waterfalls brings us to a suspension bridge. We cross it and continue through along a forested path then we reach the two tea houses at Dobhan.

From Dobhan we continue our journey along a forested path. On our left we will see the impressive series of rapids of the Buri Gandaki. The route stays low at first, then climbs on a rugged, rocky trail to a teashop at Duman. After crossing a big landslide we will find ourselves atop a ridge. The river valley widens and the Buri Gandaki meanders serenely . There is a large teahouse at Lauri,Yaru Phant.. We shall have lunch here. We cross a suspension bridge of after Lauri then climb up the well-managed stone stairs. When we reach Jagat we shall get our permit checked. In about an hour we will reach Salleri, a very nice Gurung village.

From here we diagonally descend to the village of Setibas, where a decrepit stone kani and several mani walls indicate that the trek is now entering a region of Tibetan influence, although the people are still Gurungs. The valley widens a bit as the trail continues up to the stone houses of Ghatta Khola. Cross the rock-strewn stream where several mills (ghatta in Nepali) spin merrily away. The trail continues upstream to a long suspension bridge and cross the bridge and climb up to Phillim (1590m), a large Gurung village with fields of corn and millet. We head north from here. The trail from here is level and takes about an hour to Eklo Bhatti and we will have lunch here. After Ekle Bhatti cross the gorge and half an hour walk in the right side we get to see the big and beautiful waterfall and enter the pine tree forests. Descend down to trail going to the Tsum Valley. Climb through pine and rhododendron forests. Enjoy the views of Himalchuli 7893m and Boudha Himal from Lokpa, a small beautiful village.

Pass Lokpa, descend half an hour towards Lungwa khola and climbing switch backs difficult trail for further three hours north through pines and rhododendrons we reach Gumlung. Crossing the Siyar Khola, finally arrive at Chumling, from where we can view Shringi Himal. Visit the old Chumling gompa, and the stone streets of the village.

Cross the suspension bridge onto the opposite bank. Enjoy the great views of Ganesh Himal. Walk past Rainjam to Serpu Khola crossing another bridge we arrive at the Gho Village. Continue for a further 2 hours climb towards Tsum takes us to the village of Chhokangparo. Beware of falling rocks before the village, Weather permitting; enjoy the views of Himalchuli 7893m and Ganesh Himal at7140m.

While climbing above Chokhangparo, better to be careful of altitude problems. Walk past Lamagaon crossing rope suspension bridge to the Rachen Gompa, which is also well known as Nunnery Gompa too. We make a small visit and then we cross the Shiar Khola. Continue walking through the well managed villages Lar (micro hydro power), Phurbe and Pangdun. Leaving old historic Stupa of Bhudda in a way crossing the village of Chhule, climb upstream and cross the bridge to finally arrive at Nile. If you consider we can make your visit to a famous monastery of Chhule which is located in the top of area. In Nile we will stay either in Hotel Yak, Hotel Mu , Hotel Nile etc.

We are now almost close to the Tibetan border. Walk to the west bank of the valley through the Tibetan landscapes. Climb up to the Mu Gompa. We also visit the monastery. Then after, we make a visit to the Dhephu Doma Gompa.

Today we make a sightseeing of the whole Mu Gompa Region. Mu Gompa is the largest monastery in the region. We also explore to the lake. The Gompa lies at the highest and most remote part of the Tsum Valley. After exploring the Mu Gompa area, we may also consider the option of getting to the base of Pika Himal (4865m).

Trek back through Chhule and Phurbe, on the east bank of the Shiar Khola. Finally we arrive at Burgi village. The Burgi village is a small beautiful village. Climb up to the Milarepa's Cave. Milarepa Cave (piren phu) is known for its mesmerizing glimpses of Poshyop Glacier, Kipu Himal and Churke himal.

Continue trekking enjoying the greenery of nature and descend down to Chhokang Paro again. From their continue descending to Gho. Descending further, we arrive at the bridge over the Sarpu Khola. Trekking along the lower Tsum Valley takes you to Chumling again.

The trail continues to Lokpa. After lunch south on a flat trail we move ahead. Enjoy the gorgeous Samba Falls. Finally arrive at Phillim.

From Philim, a large Gurung village we go to Khorlabesi via Jagat and Tatopani. Descend down to Sirdibas and we finally reach to Jagat. Further descend takes us to Yaruphant. The arid Tibetan climate now gives way to subtropical green vegetation. Continue trekking to Dobhan. Finally arrive at Tatopani. There is a hot spring at Tatopani. If interested, you may dip yourself in the hot spring and relax your tired muscles by soaking yourself in the hot spring. If not continue walking up and down from Tatopani to reach Khorlabesi, our rest place for the day.

The trail crosses the Tharo Khola flowing in a rocky ravine. Head down again to the river and traverse to Machha Khola village. Walk along the Budhi Gandaki River to reach to Gurung village of Labubesi.

Drive back to Kathmandu. Lunch on the way. Check in to our booked hotel.

Free day today for shopping and strolling around Thamel and other areas of city. At the evening we shall enjoy our farewell dinner with Nepalese cuisine and cultural show.
